Mia is a spaniel mix, spayed female, about 15 pounds.
She is thought to be about 18 months old but there are times she acts like a puppy! Her foster mom says she is doing better with chewing on toys only and less likely to use your slippers as a toy. She is housebroken as long as she is taken out multiple times a day. She doesn’t have an accident overnight. She walks great on a leash and doesn’t need a fenced yard. In fact, if you have a fenced yard she may not use it! She does best when taken outside on a leash.
Mia is a sweetheart. She loves everyone she meets. She hasn’t been around children but our guess is she will be fine, and would really enjoy, respectful children over 5 years old. She hasn’t been around cats in her foster home.
What Mia wants most of all is a loving home with a playful dog as a companion. The four dogs in her foster home range in size from 8 lbs to 80 pounds and she loves them all. So we’re hoping to find her a home with a playful companion.
