Joe

Joe is a Lab. mix, neutered male, approx. 9 years.

Several months ago we received a plea from a fellow rescuer to provide a Christmas miracle. Joe, a sad-looking, senior Lab. mix had ended up at a high-kill animal shelter. He was very thin, withdrawn, and not likely to be adopted, so we said we would help. We are so glad we did. At first, Joe was withdrawn and insecure. He has blossomed into being a loyal, loving friend who is wonderful with everyone and so thankful for having regular meals and affection.
