Don’t forget to check your county animal shelter if you’re looking for a pet. Many beautiful, highly adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized due to overcrowding. CDHA works with most of the area shelters in trying to save animals that may otherwise have to be destroyed. Unfortunately, there are more animals that need homes than there are responsible adopters.
