Josie is a Shorkie (Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix), female (she will be spayed before her adoption), approximately 11 months old.
Josie had been bought as a therapy dog for the family’s disabled daughter, but dealing with a puppy and a disabled child proved to be too much for them to handle. Anyone wanting to adopt a puppy from CDHA needs to have a flexible schedule or to not work full time. No first-time adopters for Josie.
