The Capital District Humane Association was formed in response to the serious need for a private animal welfare group to serve the Capital Region of New York State.
CDHA takes in animals who are unwanted, abandoned, unable to be kept by their owners or otherwise needy. And these animals are kept for an unlimited time at no charge to the former owner until a home is found.
If you’re looking for a new “family member” please plan to see us at our next adoption clinic
CDHA welcomes anyone interested in volunteering their time with adoption clinics and fund-raisers
As a CDHA sponsor, you will make a difference by providing a steady income that we can count on to continue our work
