Toby is a complete love. He is calm and well-behaved.  He is fine with small dogs but seems to be threatened by bigger dogs and will bark at them.  He wants to be with his humans and will bark when they leave.  Thus, he should not be adopted by someone living in an apt or in housing with shared walls.  We would like to see him be adopted by someone who knows and loves Cairn terriers.  Toby is a heartthrob and too cute for words.

Minnie is a sweet, affectionate cutie who is good with other dogs.  Cats: we don’t know.  She is going to make a terrific companion for the fortunate person selected to adopt her.

Maddie is sweet, quiet, well-behaved, and gets along well with other dogs. She was recently treated for heartworm, and although her treatment has been completed, the vet recommends that she be kept quiet for the next few weeks.  No rigorous exercise.  So, no climbing the peaks of the Adirondacks for a while,  She is a doll.

Dandy is sweet and playful and loves going for walks.  At that time, she prances with joy.   Not much is known about her past life because she was picked up as a stray before ending up in an animal shelter.  She might be best as an only dog.   Also, she could be somewhat hearing impaired.  Either way, she is just about the perfect size and will make a wonderful little friend for the lucky person chosen to adopt Dandy.

Joey’s family experienced a fire in the home, so Joey had to find a new place to live.  He is a little doll who enjoys pleasing his humans and who would like a home with someone who loves this wonderful breed.

His former foster mom says that Dante is “wonderful” and that she can’t say enough good things about him. He’s the whole package. Don’t miss meeting this little gem.

She came from a hoarding situation where she was one of 28 other dogs that were rescued.
Echo is very shy until she comes to know and trust you.  She then comes out of her shell, is playful, and wants to be held and loved. Anyone wanting to adopt her must be willing to give her time to adjust to her new home.  She would do best in a home with another dog.   Echo adores children.  She also loves being held and babied.

Enzo i good with other dogs and adores humans. In fact, he is a velcro type who will want to be close to you all the time – typical of terriers, He will bark if he sees other dogs so he probably wouldn’t be good for someone living on an apartment or townhome. We would like to place Enzo with someone who knows and loves the Cairn terriers.
