Dandy is sweet and playful and loves going for walks.  At that time, she prances with joy.   Not much is known about her past life because she was picked up as a stray before ending up in an animal shelter.  She might be best as an only dog.   Also, she could be somewhat hearing impaired.  Either way, she is just about the perfect size and will make a wonderful little friend for the lucky person chosen to adopt Dandy.

]]> Echo is a spayed female Italian greyhound mix (we think), approx. 2 years old.
She came from a hoarding situation where she was one of 28 other dogs that were rescued.
Echo is very shy until she comes to know and trust you.  She then comes out of her shell, is playful, and wants to be held and loved. Anyone wanting to adopt her must be willing to give her time to adjust to her new home.  She would do best in a home with another dog.   Echo adores children.  She also loves being held and babied.

Enzo i good with other dogs and adores humans. In fact, he is a velcro type who will want to be close to you all the time – typical of terriers, He will bark if he sees other dogs so he probably wouldn’t be good for someone living on an apartment or townhome. We would like to place Enzo with someone who knows and loves the Cairn terriers.

Maddie had belonged to an older woman who was no longer able to keep her. Maddie just wants to be held and loved.   If you’re looking for a tiny friend to adore and spoil, then Maddie just might be the dog for you. She is so small that we wouldn’t recommend she go to a home with young children who might be too rough around her.  She could also be easily hurt by a dog larger than she is.

Walt Disney would have taken one look at Tatum and signed him under contract.  He is truly precious with his scruffy terrier hair. He is also a tiny love bug who thrives on being held and cuddled.  He was recently surrendered because his caretaker works long hours, and felt it was unfair for him to be alone so much.  She rescued him from a bad home. Tatum is afraid of dogs larger than him, but otherwise friendly with other dogs. He likes cats and will even play with them.  He is a real cutie.

If you love Shih Tzus, you will want to meet our little Eli.  Despite having been neglected by his previous human caretakers, he is now ready for a loving home with responsible caretakers who will take care of him.   Eli has dry eyes and will need over-the-counter drops in his eyes daily.  He can get grumpy when people are poking and prodding him, so we recommend an experienced dog owner who would not be deterred if he displays negative behavior.     He has so much to offer and just needs the right adopter to give him the opportunity to have a good home.
