The Capital District Humane Association is a volunteer organization.
It is not subsidized by any governmental agency but depends entirely upon fund-raisers and donations. If you care about animals as we do, please help us by donating money or time to our cause.
State employees, please donate to us through the SEFA campaign. Our ID# is 50-00070.
Support of CDHA by bequest, trust, or endowment provides vital resources to ensure the Association's continued fight for animal welfare.
If you are interested in further information, please contact CDHA or consult with your attorney.
If you wish to make a donation, want more information about CDHA or wish to volunteer, please e-mail us, write or call.
CDHA welcomes anyone interested in volunteering their time with adoption clinics and fund-raisers. Foster homes are always needed as well to accommodate the number of pets who need temporary homes before they are permanently adopted. Please contact us if you are interested or can help in any way.
Fostering has many rewards, not the least of which is getting to know the animals' personalities and watching them evolve into confident, loved, and well-adjusted beings. The knowledge we gain from having foster animals in our homes allows us to share much insight with perspective adopters. It all makes for a happy ending and "forever home."
Capital District Humane Association is an all-volunteer, no-kill organization that relies strictly on public support. All donations are tax deductible, as allowed by law. Without your generosity our continued work would not be possible. Monthly donations are a great way to help us do even more. As a Capital District Humane Association sponsor, you will make a difference by providing a steady income that we can count on to continue our work.
If you'd like to help, but your not sure what's need, here's our wish list.
Please remember to contribute to Capital District Humane Association through SEFA and United Way.
Although Sandy's story had a happy ending, there are many other unfortunate animals desperately in need of help. You can help by making a contribution to Sandy's Fund.
To help us save sick or injured animals in our care, please send a contribution to Sandy's Fund.
