CDHA has two new supporters, Sarah Rappazzo and Dylan Reichl. These two youngsters each held birthday parties that benefited The Capital District Humane Association.
Sarah has a Bichon, Benny, and loves learning about animals so she was reading a puppy magazine and came across an article that explained how to have a benefit birthday party. She decided that was what she wanted for her 9th birthday. Sarah looked in the phone book hoping to find a listing that caught her eye. She liked that CDHA is a “no kill” rescue group. Sarah really liked that all animals had as much time as was needed to find their right, forever home. She had so much fun she plans to start volunteering with CDHA and CDHA is lucky to have such a thoughtful girl helping out!
Colleen and Thomas Reichl wanted their son to feel the joy of giving. Since Dylan loves cats and dogs so much they knew he would be delighted to request pet food donations instead of gifts for himself for his second birthday. They wanted to choose a smaller, locally based group where they knew their donation would really make a positive impact.
The Capital District Humane Association really appreciates each of these young people’s donations as well as their giving attitudes.
